Questions to ask before booking
The questions that reveal communication style, backup plans, cultural fit, and delivery expectations.
Ask to see two or three full galleries from weddings similar to yours. If you are planning a Chinese wedding, destination weekend, or city hall ceremony, the most relevant galleries matter more than the most impressive ones.
Confirm who will photograph the wedding, what backup gear and file backup process they use, and whether they have worked with your planner or venue type before.
Clarify how portraits are directed. Some couples want light prompting and movement, while others want classic family portraits and a more structured shot list.
